This is why the "you're just not drafting the set right" arguments are bullshit-because they assume the only reason someone could possibly not enjoy a draft format is because they're losing and not because of other gameplay-related reasons why they might not find the format fun. Winning is not the only thing that makes a draft format fun, and when I look at whether I enjoy a format, usually I try to separate that from whether or not I was winning or losing. I've done poorly at a lot of formats that I thought were great and did well at a lot of draft formats I've felt were terrible. Its absurdly reductive to think the only thing that makes a draft format fun is winning. So, better players having worse drafting records than me could mean that the format is bad (in some ways, yes, it is), but it can also be that the better players are stubbornly trying to draft like they did with just 2 sets, and are suffering for it. I still win often enough to make drafting worth my while, and I am FAR from a good player in this game.
